Consider each of the following issues:

 

• The role of early education
  
• The role of the teacher in fostering learning

 

Choose one of these issues and reflect on what the ancient Greeks believed.

• A summary of ancient Greek thinking with regard to either the role of early education or the role of the teacher in fostering learning
  
• Relevance of this thinking in education today
