2. Identify one passage from the Valarie Kaur video that you find meaningful and –

• • Introduce this passage with a signal phrase that flows grammatically with the it, include the passage, and in your signal phrase, include the author’s name and profession/expertise.
  • After the passage, include an accurate MLA in-text citation, using either the paragraph or video timestamp format.
    • You’ll find the text of Kaur’s speech below the video if you choose to use the paragraph format.
    • Remember not to repeat the author’s last name in the citation if you’ve included it in the signal phrase.
  • Explain why this passage stands out to you.
